About Us
This Is Entertainment is a for-profit start-up company focused on producing a wide range of entertainment acts, products and services. We pursue, produce, and provide entertainment in every aspect of the fine arts, including comedy, photography, film, music, theater, art, and live performances. We are physically located at The Back Lot in North Providence. The majority of our products are from local artists in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area.
With a team of diverse, experienced artists and experts, we provide a one-of-a-kind quality service that give our customers the entertainment they seek and memories they will never forget.
Staff
Kody Fraser
Kody is a filmmaker, comedian, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Rhode Island, his goal for This Is Entertainment is to bring a unique and independent branch of the entertainment industry to the ocean state.
Eileen Slavin
Eileen is our official post-production expert with over 10 years' experience editing a myriad of award-winning films. Eileen loves editing almost as much as she loves her cats, and sometimes more than she loves her husband. (Just kidding... mostly).
Mel DuPont
Mel writes, directs, acts, cleans, operates power tools, fills out forms, and pitches in on everything that needs to be done for the business to run. She graduated Vancouver Film School and lives with plants.
CHRIS BOYLSTON
Chris is a New England based photographer, cinematographer, camera operator, and assistant camera. His works range from still photography, to music videos, to short films, to feature films.
William English
Will is a talented and adventurous individual quite involved in the local entertainment scene. A graduate from The University of Rhode Island, Will is Chief Financial Officer for This Is Entertainment.
DAVID ENGLISH
David is a writer and actor that made his debut as a dead body in "Murder on Monday." An economist by profession, he currently works in France and remotely supports This is Entertainment's various projects.
